    Goal Update

    Three weeks down...yeah buddy!

    Gotta say that the cravings really started to hit me hard this week. ESPECIALLY on days I did ab work. I think there's some connection to the lower ab muscles and the PC muscles because doing heavy ab work always seems to get my libido going. I have noticed that the urge to look at porn does NOT die down even after a porn-free fap sesh or bout of love making. That seems to support the idea that the real enticement of the stuff is the dopamine hit rather than the enjoyment of sexual release.

    Keeping myself out of my basement has been really helpful in keeping me honest, and I'm starting to feel really good. No "superpowers" to speak of, but I find myself more relaxed and less anxious in social situations.

    Really appreciate everyone's continued support on my goal :)

    Goal Update

    And we've hit one month!

    Mood swings are starting to kick back into gear. Took a week off from lifting which definitely did not help, but I'm going today so hoping that will lift my spirits a bit. Really need to force myself to get back into a daily meditation schedule and start my cold showers again (not the easiest when you have a one year old constantly getting you sick).

    Still overall very happy with my progress.

    Well played man, it's good to see you hit that landmark.

    Keep strong and keep in the gym. Meditation will definitely help you see clearly and re-align some lost focus.

    Goal Update

    Not much of an update to give this week. Still feeling a little bit low...hoping this is just part of the brain rewiring process and things start to pick up.

    Going to push myself and get on my other goal-setting endeavor this week so I can have something actively to pursue while I am working on abstaining.

    Exactly what you need to do. This goal is a good goal, but it's a "don't do" goal. You need a "do" goal to harness the space you're freeing up with your don't-do goal. Otherwise your body is going to feel "and? now what?".
